Our Organization:

Accu-Read, Inc. was incorporated in 1990, and is presently registered in the State of Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. We presently provide the following utility services:

• Meter-Reading
• Credit: Disconnecting and Re-connecting service
• Installation Services
• GPS data collection

Accu-Read, Inc. has been in business for over 25 years. The owner of the business has over 35 years of utility meter reading experience. We carry one million dollars in Commercial General Liability Insurance and an additional one million in backup auto coverage for our employee’s vehicles.

Accu-Read, Inc. is the largest, most successful contract meter reading company in the Pacific Northwest.

Our Employees:

Our employees are trained in all aspects of meter reading, with safety and accuracy being paramount. Training also includes identifying theft of service, resolving customer access issues, and vicious animal problems. Our employees are uniformed and carry photo identification badges. Magnetic signs are affixed to the employee’s vehicle while in the field.

• Pre-employment background investigations are performed on all new hires.

John Smits is our General Manager and handles all day to day operations, including business inquiries and contract negotiations.
